Acqua Blu Medical Spa and Skin Care Center Thermage and ST Laser

The Thermage procedure utilizes capacitive radio frequency (CRF) technology that works to gently tighten and lift the skin to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles and restore facial contours. Thermage uses CRF energy to uniformly heat the underlying layers of collagen and tissue while simultaneously protecting the tops layers with a cooling tip. The heat activity causes the deep skin tissue to immediately tighten resulting in smoother, more contoured skin.

While the results are immediate, new collagen is produced over a period of two to six months further enhancing your appearance. Depending on the size of the targeted area, a single Thermage treatment session can last anywhere from 20 minutes to two hours.

The ST laser works in conjunction with light technologies to produce a unique blend of electrical pulses, infrared light energy, and a cooling tip to allow for a deep tissue penetration while protecting the skin. The ST laser is most commonly used to tighten and firm the neck, jowls, under eye area, brow line, nasolabial folds, the upper/lower jaw, and other saggy areas on the face.
