Carey B. Steinmetz, MPAS, PA-C

Carey joined the practice in 2019, bringing years of neurosurgery and vascular experience and a long held ambition to work in plastic surgery. A Pittsburgh native from Cranberry Township, she studied Rehabilitation Science at the University of Pittsburgh before earning her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the New York Institute of Technology in 2014. She is nationally certified by the NCCPA and licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

In the practice, Carey evaluates new surgical consults alongside Dr. Heil, manages post operative patients, and performs neurotoxin and filler injectables as well as platelet rich plasma treatments for hair loss. Her standard for every face she treats is a natural aesthetic result, and she sees part of her job as helping patients navigate an industry that changes by the month.

Outside the office she enjoys time with her husband and her children, Ellie and Reid, along with traveling, photography, planning parties, and an ice cold Diet Coke.
