Daxxify is an FDA approved neuromodulator, cleared in 2022 for moderate to severe frown lines between the brows. Like Botox and Dysport it briefly quiets the muscle pulling the skin into a crease, so the line it has been folding settles out.
What sets it apart is the formulation. It is the first relaxer stabilized with a peptide rather than human serum albumin, so it contains no human or animal derived components, and in its pivotal trials the effect held for a median of about six months, with some patients holding results for nine. Because it works on muscle rather than volume, it does nothing for hollowing or for lines that sit still in the skin. Those want filler or resurfacing instead.
Treatment itself takes ten to fifteen minutes. Measured amounts through a fine needle, then back to the rest of your day.
