Dysport is an FDA approved neuromodulator. It temporarily interrupts the signal running from nerve to muscle, so the muscle stops pulling and the skin it had been folding settles out.
It is used most often on the frown lines between the brows, where the muscles are strong enough to leave a face reading as tense or tired even at rest. Because it works on muscle rather than volume, it does nothing for hollowing or for skin texture. Those want filler or resurfacing instead.
Treatment itself takes a few minutes. Measured amounts through a fine needle, then back to the rest of your day.
