Refyne and Defyne are FDA approved hyaluronic acid fillers made as a pair. Both are aimed at the lines and folds around the mouth, and both are formulated for flexibility rather than for maximum lift.
That is what separates them from a structural filler. A gel that holds a fold open beautifully at rest can read as stiff the moment someone smiles, and the area between nose and mouth is in motion constantly. These are built to move with it.
Both carry lidocaine, so the numbing arrives with the product rather than as a separate injection first.
The choice between them comes down to depth. Refyne for moderate to severe lines and folds, Defyne when those folds are deeper and need more support underneath.
