Restylane Kysse or Volbella for lips?

Both are FDA-approved hyaluronic acid fillers for the lips, and both are labeled to last up to about a year. Juvéderm Volbella is softer, with a lower concentration of hyaluronic acid, so it suits subtle hydration, fine lip lines, and people who want only a small change. Restylane Kysse is firmer yet flexible, so it adds more shape, border definition, and color to the lips.

Who each one suits
Volbella often fits:
- Mature lips with fine vertical lines, sometimes called lipstick lines
- Someone who wants their lips to look like their own, just more rested

Kysse often fits:
- Lips with a faint border that you want defined
- Someone wanting a visible but natural increase in fullness

What to expect afterward
Swelling and possible bruising peak around the second day and settle over one to two weeks. Your lips will look bigger at first than they will at two weeks, which is when the result is judged and small touch-ups are made.
